Activists from Palestine Place held a vigil for Mahmoud Sarsak, on his 86th day of hunger strike, at the Israeli embassy in London. Sarsak, a Palestinian from Gaza, is refusing food in protest of his “administrative detention” (being held without charge or trial in an Israeli prison).
Today Palestine Place was represented in Central London County Court in heroic fashion by Jim Saxon, in what he described as ‘singularly the weirdest squat defence case I’ve ever run’.
