More than 120 people visit first day of Palestine Place!
What a great first day!
We hosted workshops on BDS, Twinning with Palestine and the Palestinian youth movement. We ate lovely food, decorated our space and made decisions about how to use the space in the next few days.
And we’ve got a great day lined up tomorrow too:

4pm Workshop – Introduction to Israeli Apartheid and BDS workshop
This introductory workshop will be run daily and is designed to give people some basic facts about Israeli apartheid and the Palestinian campaign for boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel.
5pm Video link-up with Khader Adnan
Khader Adnan inspired the world and reinvigorated the Palestinian struggle with his 66 day hunger strike against his detention without trial, which laid the foundations for the 1,600 strong mass hunger strike that started on April 17.
Hear Khader Adnan speak about the those who remain on hunger strike, including Mahmoud Sarsak, who entered his 75th day of hunger strike today, and the future of the struggle of Palestinian political prisoners.
